Your Task
There is a Inventions Hall of Fame ceremony approaching, and you have been chosen as one of the judges. Being inducted in to the Inventions Hall of Fame is incredibly prestigious, and you are asked to choose for ONE of the following categories:
1) The best technological innovation
2) The most important scientific/medical discovery

You must base your award decisions on your own judgments which will be informed by assessing the innovation/discovery's impact on political, social, and economic structures in that society, and possibly the world.
You will be required to conduct research and interpret a variety of sources in order to make these judgments and justify your choices.
After researching, you will decide which innovation/discovery you would like to nominate for entrance in to the Inventions Hall of Fame. You will present your decision to your classmates (PowerPoint/video/poster/Photostory), and will try to convince them to vote for it!
